Sept. 14th  Roger Danes “Achieving Success in Print Competitions”

 This two hour program will describe, and explain the “how’s and why’s” of print competitions, from local to International level. We will examine the intricacies and “gamesmanship” needed to win!

 This interactive program explores successful and not-so successful images and the twelve PPA elements of excellent image composition.  If you are interested in print competitions, and improving your images for your client base, this program will assist you in achieving it. Entering print competitions is a challenge, but it will help you to improve your images for your clients. When you improve your images you are in more demand and when that happens you can price your art accordingly!

BIO
Roger Daines has been entering print competitions on all levels for the past twenty plus years. He has placed first, second and third many times in local, State and Regional competitions in many categories; Commercial, Illustrative, Industrial and Digital, and placed in the “Top Ten Photographers” of the Professional Photographers of California numerous times.
Roger has ten PPA prestigious “Loan Collection” images and currently has over three hundred PPA merits and over three hundred PPC merits. PPA has awarded him “Silver Photographer of the Year” for international print competition and he has images that were displayed in the Kodak booth at Epcot Center, Florida; Fuji Masterpiece Awards, Kodak Gallery Awards and two “People’s Choice Awards/medallions. He also has an ASP Regional Medallion Award for the highest scoring image in the Western States of America.
Roger has judged around the nation for local and State competitions and judged in Mexico and South Korea.
 

Guest Fee: The guest fee is $30.00 per meeting if paid at the door. (Early Bird is $20.00 if paid in advance via PayPal).

    I really enjoyed “the Becker” last night. A very enthusiastic speaker. Although I am not a wedding photographer, I can apply most of his ideas to my photography as well.

    It was fun seeing and talking with everyone. We had a lot of people there who are not members of NCPP. It appears that all of Wayne’s work to get the word out about our meetings and speakers is working.

    The Becker was great. We like always have really great speakers at NCPP.
