Craftsman’s degree: This is a group for photographers that are speakers, lecturers, or teach workshops of photography and going toward their PPA Craftsman degree.
What are the different PPA degrees?
Photographic Craftsman (Cr.Photog.)
You must earn 25 merits, 13 of which must be speaking merits.
- One of the highest recognitions for speaking, writing, or mentoring on photography; positions the photographer as an authority in the industry.
- Awarded in recognition of service to the profession as an orator, author, or mentor.
Congratulations to Denny Weigand for achieving his PPA Craftsman degree this year. FYI one must earn 13-speaker merits and 12-service merits to obtain this commendable honor. Way to go Denny.
