Ana Brandt - Pregnancy and the Newborn

ana headshot

Ana Brandt is an award winning photographer, author, and teacher who has been specializing in pregnancy and newborn imagery for over 15 years. Her classic images stand the test of time as her clients return again and again to document their pregnancy and newborn arrivals. Known for her endless patience, Ana believes that to create a business that lasts, you need more then great images of sleepy newborns. You need to create a visual history of your life because “to know where you’re going, it’s important to know where you came from.”

Learn the Art of Pregnancy and Newborn photography by learning how Ana has built her business one client at a time.

Ana will discuss best marketing methods, best sales products, and how to keep clients coming back again and again.

She’ll share new ideas such as incorporating video into sessions and marketing, as well as using the power of social media.

Ana has been published in Rangefinder Magazine three times, was nominated for a 2014 Women in Business Award and is a frequent educator for creativelive.com. Besides her photography business, Ana runs TAoPaN (The Art of Pregnancy and Newborn) which provides mentoring and workshops plus an entire clothing line for photographers choosing to focus on the pregnancy and newborn stage.

Her first book, The Art of Pregnancy and Newborn, won best Portrait Category for her cover image from the Professional

pink maternityPhotographers of California. Ana released her second book, Baby + Facts = What Every Newborn Photographer Needs to Know, and is currently working ona third entitled “Belly Babies” that will feature newborns in their Mother’s belly cast. Ana’s latest work can be seen in Alicia Silverstone’s new book, The Kind Mama.

Bring a notebook; Ana has tons of ideas for all levels and types of businesses.
